Charitable Status
The Mustard Seed Society and The Mustard Seed Foundation are registered charities in good standing. Donations may simply be directed to “The Mustard Seed” and when applicable, a Canadian tax-deductible receipt will be issued by The Mustard Seed Foundation (Charitable No. 87453 2518 RR0001).

Vendor Enrollment
All vendor invoices should be submitted to [email protected] within 15 days of the provision of services or sale of goods. Not meeting this requirement may result in delay or nonpayment for services and goods received. The Mustard Seed reserves the right not to remit a payment on invoices received after the cut-off date specified above.
Land Acknowledgement
The Mustard Seed organization respectfully acknowledges the need for reconciliation between Indigenous and Non-Indigenous peoples. Our values of Christ-Centeredness, treating all with respect and transparent accountability guides us as we seek to live in communion.

Financial Accountability
The Mustard Seed operates on an annual budget of approximately $44 million, including expenses in Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan. We seek to raise $28 million in private donations this year, with direct fundraising costs of $5 million.

Ethical Fundraising
The Mustard Seed is grateful for the generous support of our donors. We seek to respect the rights and expectations of every one of our supporters.
The Mustard Seed adheres to the Association of Fundraising Professionals Code of Ethical Principles and Standards, and aligns its practices with the Donor Bill of Rights.
From time to time, individuals or groups in our community undertake third-party fundraising initiatives to support The Mustard Seed. Individuals and groups fundraising on behalf of The Mustard Seed must complete our Community Fundraiser application form on our website.
Privacy Policy
Online Security
The Mustard Seed respects the right to privacy of its online visitors and donors and holds all personal information in strict confidentiality. We limit access to your personal information to employees who need to come in contact with the information to provide you with a receipt for your donation, and to provide you with more information about The Mustard Seed.
When You Make A Donation
The Mustard Seed will ask you to provide personally identifiable information necessary to process and service your donation, which may include your name, address, telephone number, email address, and credit card number. We retain personally identifiable information that you provide for our records, and store it on our database which is password protected for security purposes. We use a secure, PCI compliant credit card processing service and we do not retain your credit card number on our database.
Mail and Email Communications
From time to time, we send out fundraising requests by mail and email to our supporters. We do with the utmost respect for your privacy, and we will honour any request to change or reduce the frequency of our communication with you. When you complete a survey
The Mustard Seed occasionally invites supporters to participate in surveys through email or at theseed.ca. We use a reputable and secure third-party survey tool which collects responses and keeps your identity anonymous unless otherwise specified. We use survey responses to improve our understanding of our supporters and to determine how best to serve your needs. Personal information from any survey conducted by The Mustard Seed will never be sold, rented, or shared with any third-party organization for marketing purposes.
